FOTOGRAFY FORK

Basics of Forking Fotografer
Our fotografic fork is of many tines.

City & its streets, countryside & its roads, architecture & its details, people & [ their ]
nature, four legged companions & their Zoo brothers +++

The sunny side of being a forking fotografer: we never get bored. The cloudy side: they say, we are hard to identify with a particular photographic genre.

Travel bugs
We love to travel, no matter where to. We enjoy both the city and the nature.

When we’re 64
By then we might trade our fork for a chopstick.

Summertime

Summertime
and a livin's easy...

Do
Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong really mean it, or their summer differs from ours?

We submit ourselves to its mandatory visitations from April till mid-October.

What  our summer has to offer is high 90's with almost 100% humidity.
And a living is easy...
When sun is high and shadows are short & harsh,
At the Mall, Washington DC
when windows sweat just by looking at those outside,
Art Center, Savannah GA
when there is no breeze from anywhere, even hot one from Inferno,
Market Street, Savannah GA
then getting your feet cold is as good as
keeping your head cool.

Аll-consuming obsession: how to put shades on the Sun?
King Street, Charleston SC
As our momentary being starts determining our consciousness:
wine cellars as shelters start making sense,
Mills Fine Wine & Spirits, 87 Main Street, Annapolis MD
exchange your warm beer for a cold one,
Charleston's Craft Beer Store, 14 Exchange St. Charleston SC
select least of possible Coke-evils, water, for instance
Luna Park, Coney Island, Brooklyn NY
hallucinate Belgium Gelato.
In Charleston, SC
In execution of heat-defense strategy, individual styles prevail:
In National Zoo, Washington DC
In Central Park, NYC
In Central Park, NYC
In Annapolis MD
At Coney's Cones, Luna Park, Coney Island, Brooklyn NY
At the harbor, Annapolis MD
P.S. You are free to choose a summer slogan.
For instance, "Don't wear a tired, thirsty face!" ( Coca-Cola 1933
or "Bottled water is for wimps!" ( Matt Rinard ). Whatever works...

N**

We missed it all.
Parade was over, Midshipmen Class of 2012 had tossed their hats and kids already collected them for the 100th time in the Academy’s history. Old Tamanend (aka Tecumseh, a figurehead from the USS Delaware) in his new attire and a couple of announcements around the city reminded of the festivities.

While newly commissioned officers pack the bus to their duty stations

the cadets are either on-duty

or enjoying their free time:

Our feet customary directed us to Fordham to find that, while Ram’s Head ** Tavern is where we had left it last year, Annapolis heritage is now brewed in Delaware, albeit using same centuries proven recipes.
(Delaware also hosts Dogfish Head; till 1995 breweries in DE were still illegal. Noticed the role of the First State in our "story" ?)

Chilled and reloaded we strolled down the Main Street.
We'd like to show you the place we like, the way it showed itself to us.

** Naming a tavern Ram's Head in Annapolis might not be as purely coincidental: Bill the Goat is the USNA Mascot for already more than a century and now at its XXXIII generation
